Why You’ll Love Our Range Of Luxury Wall Portraits
Why you’ll love our stunning range of bespoke wall art…
1. The Print
Every portrait you purchase is first professionally hand retouched by Andy to remove only unwanted blemishes, such as bogies or dry and flaky skin. Andy loathes automated software that ruins fine detail and smudges skin texture but instead prefers to roll up his sleeves and get dirty in Photoshop. Yes it takes longer, but you’re worth it! Your images are then expertly printed using the latest 12 colour pigment inks onto our chosen fine art paper. Not only will you enjoy the richest velvety blacks and gorgeous creamy whites it also exhibits incredible longevity due to the lack of optical brighting agents commonly found in cheaper papers. Put into plain English, your artwork is going to last you donkeys years and become a much loved family heirloom.
2. The Mounts
Your print is then archive mounted beneath 2 sheets of precision cut acid free mount board, separating your delicate print from the glass and allowing your portrait space to breath. The luxury of empty space.
“They took time and care, listened to what I wanted and discussed options – at no point did they do any kind of hard sell ” Tamsin, google review
3. The Frame
Be confident that your frame moulding is 100% solid wood, 100% recyclable and FSC accredited. No nasty plastics or cheap foam core here.
4. The Glazing
Your art will be supplied with framers glazing as standard, not easily scratched plexiglass that yellows with age. You’ll also have the option to upgrade to reflection free glass (only recommended in areas of excessive direct sunlight such as conservatories) which offers both stunning clarity and impressive UV protection.
5. The detail
Turn over your artwork and you’ll see that it comes fully taped and sealed to prevent the ingress of dirt and those pesky bugs. Our framer insists on only using quality brass fixtures and felt pads that will protect your walls from scratches.
